Parivartan Yoga

Parivartan Yoga in Vedic Astrology

Parivartan Yoga is created by the joint exchange of houses owned by planets. This exchange makes both houses very important and exerts their impact on these houses. These exchange Yogas are viewed in the birth chart only.

The appearance of auspicious Yogas in the birth chart makes it powerful. Besides Raj Yoga and Dhan Yoga, there are other favorable yogas that help make the birth chart powerful. When favorable houses form a connection with the other favorable houses through favorable Yogas, it gives auspicious and favorable results. Apart from Trine and Kendra, there are Trik and Upchay houses in which Parivartana Yoga is made.

The auspicious Yoga which is performed in the birth chart due to the shift in place or sign is Mahabhagya Yoga. These Yogas are formed due to the change of status of the Lords of Kendra and Trine house. Due to the connection between Kendra and Trine in this Yoga, the person gets hopeful results during the Mahadasha-Antardasha of the Lord of these houses.

We can clearly explain it through an example: Parivartan or exchange of houses takes place when let us say for case Virgo Ascendant's first house Lord, Mercury is placed into the fourth house in Sagittarius and fourth house Lord, Jupiter is located in the first house. It will be Parivartan or exchange Yoga among two Kendra houses. It will give hopeful results.

Exchange or Parivartan Yoga in astrology??

Parivartan is a Hindi name which means “Exchange“. So whenever two planets exchanges their signs signifies Parivartan connection between two planets… Parivartan can be termed as the most powerful form of connection that can exist among two planets (More than conjunction & Mutual Aspects,). Parivartan yoga increases the energy of both into houses as well as both planets connected, In other words, if two planets are exchanging their signs so you can say like both planets are convening in each other houses, in short for prediction you can replace their position in the horoscope.

In Vedic astrology, any planetary position gets involved by one yoga hence such a condition is known as Rashi Parivartan Raja Yoga in Vedic astrology. Or In other words, the interchange of two Rashi lords creates a special planetary combination called Parivartan yoga in Vedic Astrology.

Parivartan means not only the exchange of signs - it means exchange of strength, exchange of energy, exchange of nature of each other… even replacement of everything...
