Lakshmi Mantra 

Lakshmi is the goddess of money and prosperity in the Hindu religion. The name ‘Lakshmi’ is made up of the word ‘Laksha’ which means the ultimate goal of life. Therefore, when we recite the Lakshmi mantra, we work towards finding our goals as well as working towards achieving those goals. And since the goddess Lakshmi symbolizes money, the Lakshmi mantra is also called a Money Mantra. However, we should not just use the Lakshmi mantra for money. It also gives us intelligence and wisdom that helps broaden our mindset and expand our personalities. 

Goddess Lakshmi; The Deity Of Lakshmi Mantra

The deity of the Lakshmi mantra is the goddess Lakshmi who is the wife and energy of Lord Vishnu. She blesses people with the materialistic possessions they desire like wealth, prosperity, luxury, etc. She helps them overcome the obstacles caused by the scarcity of money in their lives. She is known by many different names too like Vaishnavi, Kamala, Padma, Kalyani, Vishnupriya, etc. The idol of the goddess Lakshmi is depicted as having four hands which have different meanings. The four hands symbolize the ultimate goals of human life; Dharma (Righteousness and Duty), Artha (Wealth and Prosperity), Kama (Worldly Desires), and Moksha (Salvation). In her right hand, there is a lotus that represents beauty ad consciousness. Her palms are open downwards with gold coins falling out of it which is associated with the idea that she provides wealth and prosperity. 

Why Should One Chant Lakshmi Mantra?

When a person chants the Lakshmi mantra, they receive the blessings of goddess Lakshmi and she provides them with an abundance of wealth, beauty, health as well as youth. Chanting this mantra on the regular basis has miraculous effects on the lives of humans. It can grant individuals promotions, increased business profits, new customers, etc. It also gives mental peace and strength, increases the positivity around them, and eliminate the negative influences. When we chant the Lakshmi mantra regularly, it creates a powerful aura around it in the form of an energy field that acts as a magnet for good luck and fortune.

 

Lakshmi Mantra 1

|| Om Shring Hring Kling Tribhuvan Mahalakshmyai Asmaakam Daaridray Naashay Prachur Dhan Dehi Dehi Kling Hring Shring Om ||

We have to chant this Lakshmi mantra for 1.25 lacs times within 72 days followed by Havan. During those 72 days, goddess Lakshmi has to be worshipped according to the Shodashopachar vidhi while mantra recitation.

|| Om Shring Hring Kling Aing Saung Om Hring Ka A Ee La Hring Ha Sa Ka Ha La Hring Sakal Hring Saung Aing Kling Hring Shring Om ||

This Lakshmi mantra is for the auspicious festival of Diwali. It has to be recited for about 21x108 times on the day.

|| Om Hring Shring Kreeng Shring Kreeng Kling Shring Mahaalakshmi Mam Grihe Dhanam Pooray Pooray Chintaayai Dooray Dooray Swaha || 

This Mantra should be recited before going to the office or workplace on regular basis. 

Mahalakshmi Mantra

|| Om Sarvabaadhaa Vinirmukto, Dhan Dhaanyah Sutaanvitah | Manushyo Matprasaaden Bhavishyati Na Sanshayah Om || 

This Mantra is chanted to receive the blessings of Mahalakshmi so that she bestows us with wealth and prosperity. 

Lakshmi Gayatri Mantra

|| Om Shree Mahalakshmyai Cha Vidraahe Vishnu Patrayai Cha Dheemahi Tanno Lakshmi Prachodayat Om || 

When a person recites the Lakshmi Gayatri mantra, they are blessed with prosperity and success.
